On January 26-27, 2023, Texas A&M University is hosting a virtual Data Carpentries workshop focused on Data Analysis and Visualization in Python. This workshop is a collaboration between the Texas A&M University Library, the Texas A&M Institute of Data Science (TAMIDS), and the Texas Digital Library Consortium. The Data Carpentries teach the fundamental data skills needed to conduct research.

On Monday, March 27th Dr. Yannis Kevrekidis, a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at John Hopkins, will give a SciML Lab Seminar on “No Equations, No Variables, No Space, No Time: Data and the Modelling of Complex Systems.”
On Marth 29th, 2023, Dr. Abhishek Chakrabortty, an Assistant Professor for Texas A&M Department of Statistics, will present a TAMIDS Data Science Seminar on “Causal Inference for Treatment Effects from Observational Data: An Overview”.

On April 10th, 2023, Dr. Shuiwang Ji, a Professor and Presidential Impact Fellow in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M, will present a TAMIDS Tutorial on “Frontiers of Graph Neural Networks with the Dive-Into-Graphs (DIG) Library”.
On Thursday, April 13th, the TAMIDS Workshop on Network Science will bring together students and faculty at Texas A&M interested in both theoretical and applied aspects of network science and graph analysis. The workshop will include talks from faculty across several different departments on campus and will conclude with a poster session on student research projects.
