TAMIDS is now accepting applications for the Student Ambassador Scholarship Program. This program aims to provide graduate students with the tools and skills necessary to promote the methods and technology of Data Science and AI in their home departments and more broadly in Texas A&M. Offering two tracks, this program allows flexibility for ambassadors to align their engagement plans with their own interests.
Domain Data Science (DDS) Ambassador Track
- Propose and conduct engagements to promote data science within their departments
- Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Fortran, or other relevant programming languages, demonstrated through course or project work.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks, tools, and cloud platforms is a plus.
Generative AI (GAI) Ambassador Track
- Guide students, faculty, and researchers in developing AI-based solutions to address their research problems
- Strong generative AI expertise (fundamentals, tools, applications) through courses or projects
