Data Science encompasses all aspects of the data lifecycle from acquisition through analysis to applications. The TAMIDS Data Resource Development Program supports work that will enable, promote and increase the usage of data resources and tools that can exploit them for research at Texas A&M.

TAMIDS solicits proposals from Texas A&M PIs (either singly, or in teams with one or more Co-PIs) concerning projects to employ a postdoctoral researcher. The Texas A&M Institute of Data Science Graduate Travel Grants Program supports graduate students to attend and talk at conferences in any domain of Data Science. Awards of up to $500 will be made under the program. Preference will be given to students who give talks at the meetings attended, and for whom other sources of support are limited or unavailable.
The Texas A&M Institute of Data Science (TAMIDS) solicits proposals for one-day workshops in any area of Data Science. The aim of the TAMIDS Workshop Grants Program is to support community building, stimulate collaboration, and foster interdisciplinary growth in Data Science amongst researchers at Texas A&M.
