Each Spring semester, the Texas A&M Institute of Data Science (TAMIDS) hosts a seven-week-long data science competition open to all Texas A&M undergraduate and graduate students. This year’s competition is focused on the intersection of cybersecurity and data science!
Cybersecurity and Data Science are rapidly expanding and deeply related fields, offering numerous job opportunities for those with technological expertise and an understanding of the importance of data security. The Cyber Wise 2025 Student Data Challenge is an open-ended data science competition where teams identify a goal and develop a final report and presentation. The Data Challenge is held over seven weeks, starting with the Technical Orientation Session and ending with the Final Event. The competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students at Texas A&M, from any major or degree program.
There will be fun events and prizes throughout the competition’s seven weeks, so visit the Student Data Challenge homepage for more information!
