Presenter:
Roi Lipman is a senior engineer at Redis Labs. He leads the development of a high performance graph database that’s powered by linear algebra and sparse matrices. Prior to joining Redis Labs, Roi worked on a distributed video streaming platform. Roi is the creator of the only Linear Algebra formulation-based Graph Database at RedisLabs where he leads the development of RedisGraph since 2017. His key interests include GraphBLAS, database systems, high performance computing, and parallel and distributed algorithms. In his free time, he enjoys working on 3D graphics and spending time with his family.
Time:
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM CDT, June 14th
Description:
The recent release of GraphBLAS provides a better approach to graph processing. The industry standard GraphBLAS developed by Texas A&M Professor Tim Davis is a natural extension to BLAS, adding support for sparse matrices. This talk highlights how RedisGraph leverages GraphBLAS to address user-defined graph representations and query executions.
