Design & Analytics for Urban Artificial Intelligence Lab Workshop

In preparation for submission to the TAMIDS Thematic Labs Program, The Design & Analytics for Urban Artificial Intelligence Lab will host a workshop on June 24, 2022, with the speakers from 15 different disciplines. This workshop is inspired by and based on a successful four-hour planning event among 50+ invited scholars across colleges on Texas A&M University on June 3, 2022. This workshop (June 24) is open to the TAMU community and everyone. This workshop aims to develop an agenda to promote urban artificial intelligence-based algorithms and tools to visualize, analyze, and design cities. This will promote the collaboration in data, algorithms, and outreach between The Texas A&M Institute of Data Science and urban research communities on campus and beyond. Most importantly, this will be a convergence accelerator for the TAMU system to increase external funding in urban climate science, human mobility, and environmental informatics. The effort will bolster partnerships between academics, local residents/stakeholders, and industries/professionals to stimulate human-centered research that strengthens America’s infrastructure.
