TAMIDS, in collaboration with the Texas Research Data Center; Texas A&M Institute of Data Science; Center for Geospatial Sciences, Applications, and Technology; Public Policy Research Institute; Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning; Department of Economics; and Department of Sociology is hosting Dr. Rob Santos, Director of the Census Bureau, for a one day meeting to discuss future collaborations.

As part of his multi-day tour of Texas to build relationships with institutions that will be mutually beneficial – strengthening data science and analytics opportunities at the institutions, and building relationships that will help connect students and community members to data, internships, and jobs at the Census Bureau.
Seats are limited for the morning presentation and each of the sessions therefore, an RSVP is required, and you must RSVP by 5 p.m. on Monday, January 29, to reserve your seat to attend the presentation, topical discussion sessions, and/or the student lunches.
