Guest Speaker Information

Howdy! TAMIDS is excited to have you speak at one of our programs. Before your visit to our campus, please read the information below about our procedures and facilities. We have everything you need to give your presentation and we’re looking forward to hosting you! If you have questions, feel free to reach out to our Program Specialist, Delany Baum, via email at delany_baum@tamu.edu.

Procedures

All of our speaker events are offered in person and online via Zoom, which are recorded and posted to our YouTube channel in the days after the event. If your presentation cannot be shared online, please let Ms. Baum know at the email above. If you need permission to have your presentation shared, please obtain that prior to your visit.

We highly encourage presenters to bring their presentation on a thumb drive and/or to email their presentation to Ms. Baum ahead of time to avoid any technical issues.

Photos will be taken during your presentation for TAMIDS’s marketing efforts. You can read our full policy here: Appearance Release Statement

Facilities

TAMIDS is located in the John R. Blocker Building and our speaker events are in Room 220. For more information, please refer to our Location & Visiting page.

We have a computer and A/V equipment already set up in the room and it will be ready for you before the start of your talk. Below are some photos of the room and its equipment. Again, we recommend coming to campus with your presentation on a thumb drive or emailed to Ms. Baum.
