On January 26-27, 2023, Texas A&M University is hosting a Data Carpentry workshop. This workshop is a collaboration between the Texas A&M University Library, the Texas A&M Institute of Data Science (TAMIDS), and the Texas Digital Library Consortium.
The Data Carpentries teach the fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. This workshop is focused on Data Analysis and Visualization in Python, comprising four sessions: Data Organization in Spreadsheets; Data Cleaning with OpenRefine; Data Management with SQL; and Data Analysis and Visualization in Python. Each session is designed for participants with no programming experience. Take one workshop or all four!
The workshop is free and will be held virtually on Zoom. Space is limited to 30 participants, and it will likely fill quickly. To register for the workshop sessions, click below:
