Introduction to Gen AI Machine Learning Workshop

This free workshop is designed for students and educators interested in building a strong foundation in machine learning.

• Location: Blocker 220
• Coffee and lunch will be provided.
• Participants must bring a laptop capable of running the latest version of Chrome or Firefox.
• The registration deadline is Monday, July 14, 2025.

Participants will learn core concepts, explore common techniques, and gain hands-on experience using NVIDIA tools.

The content is accessible to all, but a basic understanding of college-level math and some programming experience (R or Python) will be helpful. Those new to these areas are welcome—just be ready for a fast-paced, engaging experience.

Participants will have access to NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) tools and receive a Fundamentals of Deep Learning certificate upon completing an assessment after the workshop.

This workshop is jointly hosted by TAMIDS and the Center for Teaching Excellence, with support from NVIDIA DLI and the Generative AI Literacy Initiative.
