Seminar Series Returns April 7th!

The TAMIDS Seminar Series is a great opportunity for students to hear from experts with a variety of educational backgrounds about how they use data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning in their careers. TAMIDS faculty members invite speakers from other universities or institutions to share their work and how it relates to the work done by TAMIDS and our Thematic Labs. Students will have the chance to hear from the experts and network with researchers and professionals in their field! Our seminars are every Monday in the Spring and Fall semesters (unless otherwise stated) from 2:00 – 3:00 pm in Blocker 220 and on Zoom.

Our next seminar is on April 7th by Dr. Li An, a professor from the College of Forestry, Wildlife, and Environment at Auburn University. His research focuses on complex human-environment systems, space-time analysis and modeling, spatial data science, landscape ecology, and complex adaptive systems. Click here to read more about Dr. An’s upcoming seminar!

We have a great lineup of speakers starting in April and going through the rest of the semester!
