Abstract: We normally spend several hours online, and our online activities have only increased due to remote working during the last year. These activities leave behind a trail of information about us that can be used to weaken cybersecurity for us and the organizations we work at. This tutorial will present the relationship between cybersecurity and our digital footprints and provide instructions on reducing our risk from cybersecurity threats by managing our digital footprints.
Biography: Dr. Ravi Sen is an Associate Professor at Mays Business School, Texas A&M. He received his Ph.D. in 2003 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interests include cybersecurity, open source software, and economics of electronic commerce. He has published in the Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), Production and Operations Management (POM), Decision Sciences, International Journal of Electronic Commerce (IJEC), Communications of AIS (CAIS), Electronic Markets, and Journal of Electronic Commerce Research.
