Developing New Courses in Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning

Since 2020, TAMIDS and the Texas A&M Center for Teaching Excellence have invited proposals to develop for-credit courses, training programs, or outreach for Texas A&M students and external audiences.

Data science drives innovation across industries, from healthcare and agriculture to finance and transportation, enabling solutions to complex global challenges. The development of learning opportunities in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning (DS/AI/ML) is essential in preparing the workforce for the rapidly evolving technological landscape. TAMIDS works with Texas A&M faculty, departments, and colleges to develop new courses in data science. As a result, students and professionals learn critical skills like data analysis, predictive modeling, ethical and responsible AI use, and more.
