2026 Graduate Research Development Workshop

This free five-day intensive workshop hosted at Texas A&M aims to provide students with valuable expertise in the methods and tools of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning (DS/AI/ML) that they can apply to their ongoing research. Applicants should have a research problem or problem area with applicable data identified. The workshop will provide students with the skills and guidance needed to elevate their research to the next level, including survey lectures on topics from the field, practical examples, and discussions of their applicability to students’ research projects. 

The workshop is open to currently enrolled Ph.D. and Master’s Thesis Track students at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), Texas Southern University (TSU), or Texas A&M University (TAMU), with at least a full semester completed in a full-time graduate program. This includes graduate students from all departments and majors who fulfill the Ph.D./Master’s Thesis requirement, have chosen a research topic, and have obtained preliminary results/data.
