Dr. Tyler Prochnow is an Assistant Professor of Health Behavior in the School of Public Health at Texas A&M University. His research interests include the social dynamics that affect health behaviors. Dr. Prochnow has done work with local Boys & Girls Clubs, health districts, gaming communities, and other research projects to better understand how social connections impact physical activity and mental health.
In this seminar, Dr. Prochnow will walk through common uses of social network analysis, including methods and tangible examples he has used to measure social connections that impact health and well-being.
